Market and Fair cake competition - Saturday December 4, 2021. At Loughborough Market (outside Town Hall) from 10am until 2pm.

Please note: Due to a low number of applications, this event has now been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Charnwood residents are invited to bring their best homemade cake creations down to our stall outside Loughborough Town Hall and compete in our Markets and Fair cake competition.

The best decorated cake on the day will win a prize!

As the event is to celebrate the 800 years anniversary of Loughborough market and fair, we would like your cakes to be in the theme of our famous markets and fair.

You could create a Helter Skelter chocolate cake... or a fruitcake with a marzipan Sockman on top...

The choice is yours!

There will also be some live music and Loughborough market will be open as usual from 8am-4pm.

We will be taking photos of entries for our social media channels, website and publicity materials. we will ask for permission prior to any photography being used.

All entrants are being asked to pick up their entries at 1.30pm.
