The Council has a limited capital budget available for the provision or enhancement of festive street lighting.

Who may apply?

Town and Parish Councils and Parish Meetings.

What does the Grant cover?

The scheme does not cover running costs or routine repair and maintenance. This scheme has previously supported displays for Christmas, Diwali and Eid within the Borough.

What are the limits on the funding?

Applications are invited for grants up to 50% of the total cost of the scheme.

When can applications be made?

The closing date for applications for Christmas street lighting is 30th September. There is no closing date for other festivals.

What is the decision making process?

Applications will be considered at the first Grants Panel once assessments are complete.
