What is a Racist Incident?
Racial harassment takes many forms but can include racist graffiti, racist insults or comments, damage to property, physical assault, threats of violence, as well as intimidation.
The Council has adopted the following definition of a racist incident:
"A racist incident is any incident which is perceived to be racist by the victim or any other person"

Charnwood Borough Council is a racist incident reporting centre. If you have been a victim of a racists incident you can report this to the Borough Council who will then forward your report to the relevant agency.
If you want to report a racist incident please contact our Community Safety Team by email communitysafety@charnwood.gov.uk, by telephone (01509)634556 or by calling in at the Councils main reception on Southfields Road, Loughborough.
You can also fill in a report form online through Leicestershire County Council's website.
