The Corporate Plan

Charnwood Borough Council’s Corporate Plan is the authority’s key document for medium and long term planning and is informed by the Community Strategy as well as local, regional and national priorities. This document is currently being reviewed and rewritten for the period 2008-11.

CONSULTATION PERIOD - between 23 May and 4 July 2008

The Charnwood Sustainable Community Strategy

The Charnwood Sustainable Community Strategy highlights the issues of concern for local people in the community and how they can be tackled. This document was put together by Charnwood Together – a partnership which includes Charnwood Borough Council, Leicestershire County Council, Leicestershire Constabulary and business and voluntary sector interests - following research and consultation with local people.

The Strategy gives further explanation of the role of the Charnwood Together Partnership and what it plans to achieve over the next few years.
