As some residents may know during 2007/8 I've been priviledged to be the Mayoress in support of Cllr Joe Tormey as Mayor. Although the title is indeed a grand one, it's a job that brings me in daily contact with many people and organisations across the whole Borough. I am learning a great deal and appreciate the dedication and hard work done by many residents.

I love the job but still find time to attend the Ashby Road Residents Association to pick up on local issues. In May I will relinquish my term as Mayoress and devote myself entirely to local issues. I am also available to students at Loughborough University who can contact me at any time by email about local issues.
