Would you like to have your say on our Disability Equality Scheme?

Charnwood Borough Council has developed its first draft Disability Equality Scheme. The Council has a duty under the Disability Discrimination Act 2005 to produce a Disability Scheme that outlines our approach to disability for both our staff and those that use our services.

The document has been put together after extensive consultation work.
Over one hundred individuals and groups have already given their input through a variety of ways including; mystery shopping, focus groups, workshops and questionnaire responses.
