CONSULTATION ON LOCAL PLANNING APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
(Leicestershire & Rutland Local Authorities Working in Partnership)
In March - April 2008 Local authorities across Leicestershire & Rutland joined together to consult on a Local List of Planning Application Requirements.
A National List has been established which will be a legal requirement for all applications to meet after the 6 April 2008. To go with this it is proposed that all authorities formally adopt a Local List of requirements shortly following this consultation and these requirements will be statutorily required for any submitted applications once adopted in addition to the National List.
When a submitted application does not meet the requirements set out in both the National and Local List it will be considered to be invalid. Both of these lists and the comments received during the consultation can be viewed below.
