Delighted to say that I have received confirmation of the works to improve safety on Ling Road early in the New Year. The speed limits will be reduced, and we will have those automated speed signs telling motorists to slow down.

The Trollies issue went to Cabinet last week, and they have asked the Director of Environment to review and return with a report within 6 months. Please let me know by e-mail if you have a troublesome trolley in your street.

I was at the Christmas event for Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing. At long last the Company is up and running. As you will be aware the Company has taken over the Houses previously managed by Charnwood Borough Council. I am a Director of the Company, and passionate about improving the housing stock in Shelthorpe - please talk to me about problems/suggestions.
