Cattle Bridge. C18. Mellow red brick. Semi-ellipitical barrel vault construction. Opening framed with brick on end voussoirs having bull-nosed arrises. Cast metal name plaque above centre of arch. Projecting string course marks line of carriageway. Parapet wall topped with projecting bull-nosed brick on bed coping. Stone capped piers terminate each end of parapet.
Woodthorpe Bridge (South of Loughborough), Grand Union Canal - Locally Listed
Cattle Bridge BWB No 33. Late C18. Mellow red brick. Elliptical barrel vault construction with brick on end dressing to arched opening. Bullnose stone copings to parapet and terminal piers. Some copings replaced with concrete. Projecting string course at base of parapet traces line of carriageway.
Millers Bridge (South of Loughborough), Grand Union Canal - Locally Listed
Cattle Bridge. BWB No 34. Late C18. Mellow red brick. Elliptical barrel vault construction with brick on end dressing to arched opening. Stone copings to parapet and terminal piers. Projecting string course at base of parapet traces line of carriageway. Sections of parapet broken down and needing repair.
Little Moor Lane Bridge, Grand Union Canal - Locally Listed
Originally a Cattle Bridge. Now serves new housing development. BWB No 36 Late C18. Mellow red brick. Elliptical barrel vault construction with brick on end dressing to arched opening. Bullnose blue engineering brick copings to parapet and terminal piers. Parapet walls rebuilt Late C20 Projecting string course at base of parapet traces line of carriageway.
Meadow Lane Road Bridge, Grand Union Canal - Locally Listed
Road Bridge. Perhaps Early C20 replacement for original brick construction. In situ reinforced concrete vault with stone facing and Neoclassical piers. Cast stone balustrade panels.
Swingbridge Road Bridge, Grand Union Canal - Locally Listed
Originally a Cattle Bridge. Now carries light road traffic. BWB No 41. Late C18. Mellow red brick. Elliptical barrel vault construction with brick on end dressing to arched opening. Bullnosed stone and terra-cotta copings to parapet and terminal piers. On N façade, pier on L abuts random Mountsorrel granite retaining wall. Projecting string course at base of parapet traces line of carriageway. Disfigured by ugly service pipe on S façade.
Bishop Meadow Lock House, Grand Union Canal - Locally Listed
Originally a Tied House provided as Lock-keepers accommodation. Perhaps Mid C19 but much remodelled. Plain Gothic Revival styling. Red brick with shallow brick arched openings. Slate pitched roofs with half dormers and sloping corbelled brick string courses along gable eaves. 2 storeys. Unhappy replacement windows and pointing.

Cattle Bridge. BWB No 42. Late C18. Mellow red brick. Elliptical barrel vault construction with brick on end dressing and stone keystone to arched opening. Bullnosed stone copings to parapet and terminal piers. Some stones missing and replaced with brick on edge. Projecting string course at base of parapet traces line of carriageway.
