Annual Monitoring Report
Monitoring is key to the successful development of the evidence base supporting the production of the local development framework. Councils are required to produce an Annual Monitoring Report. This will be the main way to assess the local development framework's performance and effects. In the short term it will also monitor the policies of the adopted Local Plan.

The Council has monitored housing and employment land availability - the development of new sites and supply of land with planning permission - for many years. The most recent are available to download:
Evidence Base Studies
There are a number of evidence base studies that have been published to inform the preparation of the Local Development Framework. This includes the Employment Land Study and Housing Land Availability Assessment.
