The implementation of the Land Charges Computer system has enabled us to achieve a significant improvement to turnaround times. The new system has ensured that all standard search applications are returned within the 10 working day Best Value Performance Indicator and in almost every case search applications are now being returned in 4 working days.

Further improvements to the service have been made by signing up to NLIS level 3 which allows access to our service on-line. Those search applications that are submitted to us via the NLIS hub are returned in 3 working days.
