A new organisation, Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing, has now been formed to manage the Council’s housing stock allowing the Council to focus on the housing needs of the borough as a whole.

Tenancy Conditions

Most Council Tenants are either Introductory Tenants or Secure Tenants.

For the first 12 months of your tenancy you are an Introductory Tenant. An Introductory Tenancy is like a trial tenancy.

Using the links below you can see the main terms of your tenancy agreements. Some terms are different depending on whether you are a Secure or Introductory tenant. Where there are differences these are clearly highlighted.
