Description

Lodge to Whatton House. Early C19. Stripped Classical styling possibly by John Johnson, designer of Whatton House. Ashlar. Hipped slate roof with deep eaves carried on shaped timber supports. Stone? ridge and hip tiles. Central ridge stack with 5 shafts and terra cotta pots. Single storey. Main elevation in 3 bays. Projecting centre bay with panelled entrance door and 15 pane casement window either side. One 20 paned casement window centred within each of flanking bays. All openings with projecting stone casings. ?Ears? support horizontal moulded pediment. Inappropriate fencing.
