Charnwood Borough Council - Leading in Leicestershire

Council Leader, Cllr. Max Hunt has welcomed the signing of a new charter which commits the Council to further developing effective local leadership by providing coaching for Councillors on a range of leadership, team building and technology skills.

“The scheme is called the ‘East Midlands Regional Councillor Development Charter’ and I am pleased that we are working with East Midlands Regional Local Government Association, (EMRLGA) and the Improvement and Development Agency, (I&DeA) on the project. At its heart the charter aims to build upon the skills of local councillors to help them become better at what they do and so provide a top draw service to local people.”
