More fantastic benefits for Wild card holders

With summer holidays now here, youngsters aged 5 - 16 years old are encouraged to sign up to Charnwood Borough Council’s Leisure Pass Scheme “The Wild Card”. Wild card members now have the benefit of receiving further savings thanks to many new companies signing up to the scheme and offering members a range of superb discounts.
New on board this summer is Loughborough University, where wild card members will receive 25% discount off the casual swim charge, and court charges for badminton, indoor and outdoor tennis, table tennis and squash.
Keeping in with sporty activities Wild card members can learn martial arts techniques at The Jon Jepson Black Belt Academy, and receive the added advantage of a free introductory lesson and one-month free trial.
Wild card members can now receive free entry with one full paying adult at Bosworth Battlefield Visitor Centre and Country Park, where they can find out more about medieval life and learn more about the decisive battle.
Subway Chains in Loughborough and Leicester Wild are now offering Wild card members the chance to eat healthily by offering 10% discount on a delicious range of deli-style sandwiches, salads and wraps.
For Wild card members who are keen on cycling Cyclops Cycles in Syston and City Cycles in Thurmaston, Coalville and Leicester are now offering 10% discount on full priced bikes, parts and accessories.
Sara Meikle, council community leisure development officer said,
“The Wild Card is a must for all young people. The scheme now has over 50 companies offering fantastic discounts to Wild card members. We hope that through the Wild card, leisure and arts facilities, visitor attractions and local retailers will be more accessible for Charnwood residents. At only £3 per year or free if you receive free school meals, the Wild card is the ticket to great experiences all year round. The benefits of the Wild Card are huge and card can be used all year round, so sign up today.”
