An adaptation is an alteration that will help you or a member of your household live as independently as possible. Adapting your home can be a complex and difficult procedure. However, advice is available for council tenants on the Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing website and the council may be able to assist with the cost of funding the work with a disabled facilities grant.
