Anti-Social Behaviour
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 defines Anti-Social Behaviour as behaviour which causes or is likely to cause alarm or distress to one or more persons not of the same household, or where a course of conduct has been pursued which causes or is likely to cause alarm or distress.

Dealing with Nuisance
If you are experiencing problems with noise or other forms of nuisance you should address these in the first instance to the Environmental Protection Team. In some instances, where the nuisance affects the wider community or if there are other issues besides noise, the matter may be referred, by them, to the Anti-Social Behaviour Team.
