A consultation exercise was held at Loughborough’s off – street car parks between July 25th and August 8th.

The survey was carried out by Marketing Innovation on behalf of the council to find out how satisfied people who use the car park are with the service it provides.

Car park

The survey asked questions that included how satisfied people were with the facilities of the car park, which facilities were most important to them, whether they felt that the charges were value for money and how frequently they used the car parks.

It also asked people to suggest any changes they would like to see that would improve the car parks.

Our original aim was to consult with 500 car park users and by the end of the two-week consultation period we had actually interviewed 527 people.

Overall, 86.5% of the people questioned were either satisfied or very satisfied with the overall car parking service that we provide.

We will use the results of the survey to inform our future strategy and planning – identifying ways to maintain and exceed the current level of service that we provide.
