The Charnwood Local Plan will set out our planning policies and proposals to guide future development in the Borough. It will be made up of a number of documents that will outline our policies for meeting the community's economic, environmental and social needs over the next 15 years or so.

Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA): The call for sites is now closed and the review of the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment for Charnwood is now underway. Read more about the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment here.

Stakeholder workshops: The Council has held a series of workshops with organisations, partners and other bodies since 2008.
