Children and Young Persons Strategy
The Council has recently written its first Children and Young Persons Strategy. The aim of the Strategy is to coordinate everything we do for Children and Young People as a Council. There are many ways that the work of the Council impacts on the lives of children and young people in Charnwood for example through the leisure and recreation facilities we provide, the work of the Community Safety Team, providing support for young people who are homeless etc. Therefore it is important to involve children and young people in the decision making processes of the Council.
