Coach Education

Charnwood Borough Council is committed to increasing the amount of coaches delivering within the borough. The role of the coach, administrator and official has become increasingly important in today's sporting environment. The quality of sports development programmes and the enjoyment, safety and performance of participants are directly linked to the quality of the programme's delivery.

National Governing Body (NGB’s) Coaching Courses

A list of Sport England recognised Natianal Governing Bodies can be found here, you can find links to their coaching courses from the sports NGB website.

Generic Courses

A list of local generic courses ranging from Safeguarding, Coach Manager Training through to First Aid can be found here, these courses are provided by Leicester-shire and Rutland Sport.
