Coach Education
Charnwood Borough Council is committed to increasing the amount of coaches delivering within the borough. The role of the coach, administrator and official has become increasingly important in today's sporting environment. The quality of sports development programmes and the enjoyment, safety and performance of participants are directly linked to the quality of the programme's delivery.
National Governing Body (NGB’s) Coaching Courses
The Charnwood Sport and Active Recreation Alliance has been in consultation with NGB about the possibility of running coaching courses in partnership with them. In a similar way to the previous Coachsteps Program ran in Charnwood.
We are still in discussions with NGB’s, however we need more information on the need for courses in the area from local clubs and coaches. We will be putting up a link for a survey in the coming weeks.
