Community Safety Survey 2008
This survey is carried out every two years by the council on behalf of the local Community Safety Partnership.
It asks local people to tell us their views on a variety of topics including experiences of crime; how safe they feel in their community and anti-social behaviour.
It also asks people about the community safety service role that the council plays.
To gather in this information a postal survey is sent to households across the Borough (chosen at random). This year 1107 responded. Here are some of the things they said.
The results of this survey will help us to plan our community safety service to make sure that as well as our own national targets we focus on the issues and concerns that are most important to you.
