Surgery

Your local Borough and County Councillors will be holding a "surgery" at Rawlins Community College on Saturday, 14 November, between 10.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. Please just call in as no appointment is necessary.

Shops in Park Road

The shops look awful, the building is deteriorating, and they are the focus for antisocial behaviour. Something has to be done.

Student Parking Update

Double yellow lines have now been painted on the corner of Outwoods Drive and Forest Road. Residents are pleased, but are still campaigning for control of long term parking.

Free Swimming !!!

From April next year those aged over 60 and under 16 will be able to swim for free ! . I have campaigned for Charnwood Borough Council to take up the governments offer of funding and am glad to say that officers have recommended it and the funding has now been secured. See you in the Pool !

And Finally......

My surgeries have now finished for this year, but you can always contact me at home anytime should you have any need to, either by phone or e-mail. Next years surgeries are planned for the first quarter of the new year, and will be held in the Village Hall again on the following dates: 28th February 2009 10.00-11.30 28th March2009 10.00-11.30 16th May2009 10.00-11.30 6th June 2009 10.00-11.30 I know that this is a busy time of year, but I hope that during all the activities you can find time..
