Councillor's Surgeries
I hold regular surgeries at Rawlins Community College, where you can discuss with me any matters which concern you. These surgeries are advertised in the Village section of the Echo and by posters in various parts of the Village. Surgeries are on Saturday mornings from 10-30am to 12-30pm in The Rawlins Community Lounge. Just call in as no appointment is necessary, we will be pleased to see you. A Face Lift For Sharpley Road Shops!
Our local shopping center has continued to be at the heart of our community. The improved lighting is now in place, thank you to all who contacted us. Now is it time for a change to paved area outside of the shops themselves? We have had several ideas sent to us about breaking up the space, keeping it accessible, but leaving less space for football and skateboarding! County Charity Ride

Local Government Reorganization
Max Hunt and John Bryant meet Jim Fitzpatrick MP at discussions on local government reorganisation. John pushed for recognition and better support for Town and Parish Councils and spoke against overly large unitary authorities.

"Shop Local" Campaign
My "Shop Local" campaign is designed to help town centre traders but it also works locally. Shopping at Costcutter, Morrisons, or Sharpley Road Post Office means fewer car journeys, meeting more people and helping to keep local shops going strong.
