If you want to stand in the 3 May local elections as a borough councillor, you will need to complete, sign and return a set of forms by 12 noon on WEDNESDAY 4 APRIL. The necessary forms can be downloaded here. A brief summary of what each form is for, and who needs to sign it, is also given below.

How to get nominated.
- Download and print the relevant forms below.
- Complete the necessary forms, making sure you get the relevant names and signatures required.
- All Nomination paperwork can be brought to Reception at Southfields Council Offices from 23rd March 2007 but must be delivered no later than 12 noon on Wednesday 4 April 2007.
- Don't leave it until the last minute in case we have any queries with your nomination.

Must have the full name & address of the candidate, the ward they're standing in, plus the signatures of a proposer, seconder and eight assentors - all of whom must be on the Electoral register in the ward the candidate is standing for.
