Elections - Postal Votes
What Is Postal Voting?
Postal voting is another way of casting your vote during an election. Instead of going to the polling station and completing the ballot paper, the ballot paper is sent direct to the address of your choice. Once you have completed the ballot paper and filled in all the necessary paperwork you can then send it back. You can either post it back in the pre-paid envelope provided, take it to a polling station in the ward or constituency or bring it to the Council Offices.
How Do I Get a Postal Vote?
A postal vote application form can be sent out on request. To request a postal vote please call (01509) 634613 or e-mail electoral.services@charnwood.gov.uk Please note that we can only accept forms electronically that have been signed by hand. To do this you must have access to a scanner.
