If your property cannot accommodate a wheelie bin, usually due to access or location issues, you may be classed as exempt and we will give you bags for your recycling and non-recyclable waste.
You will leave these out to collect on your collection days.
Recycling sacks
These are for all mixed recyclable material, including:
- paper
- cardboard
- tins and cans
- plastic tubs
- plastic bottles
- foil
- glass
Recycling sacks are replaced on a like for like basis, for example, if you present three sacks of recycling, you will be left with three empty recycling sacks to be used on your next recycling collection day.
Black sacks
Black sacks are for non-recyclable household waste.
They are replaced on a like for like basis, for example, if you present three black sacks of refuse, you will be left with three empty black sacks to be used on your next recycling collection day.
