Extended Phase 1 Habitat Survey & Species Study of Potential Strategic Development Areas (2008)

Charnwood Borough Council commissioned White Young Green in 2008 to undertake an Extended Phase 1 Habitat Survey for the parts of the Borough being considered for future strategic development. The study provides a set of habitat maps and survey report, which provide a comprehensive and robust assessment of the extent, nature and condition of habitats within the borough.

Alongside the Habitat Survey, the Borough Council has undertaken a Species Study for the same study area. This study provides a desk-top study of protected species and Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) species.

The Habitat Survey and Species Report were published in August 2008 to inform the Local Development Framework. These evidence base studies are available to view below.
