Fair Trade ImageMake Your Own Chocolate Truffles at Loughborough’s Fair Trade Fayre - Sat 5th November 2011 (10am - 4pm)

There’s a treat in store for chocolate lovers at this year’s Fair Trade Fayre at Loughborough Town Hall on Saturday November 5th. Local chocolate company Chocolate Alchemy will be running a series of workshops during the day featuring the art of chocolate making, and allowing participants to make and bring home their very own bag of chocolate truffles – using the very best in ethical ingredients!

And the workshops are only one of the great attractions at the annual Fayre, where there will be widest choice yet of stalls selling fairly traded crafts, gifts, fashions and food. With everything from high street fashion to delicious homemade cakes and Christmas puddings, plus unique hand crafted jewellery and unusual crafts and gift ideas - all of it fairly traded - the Fayre promises to be a great place to do your Christmas shopping. It is open in the Victoria Room at Loughborough Town Hall, from 10am until 4pm so come along and experience for yourself the high quality and vast range of fairly traded goods now available.

The Fair Trade Fayre is backed by Charnwood Borough Council and admission to the stalls is free. The chocolate making workshops cost just £3 per person or £10 for four – workshops run at 11am, 12 noon, 1pm and 2pm for 30-40 minutes, and places can be booked by emailing charnwoodfairtrade@tiscali.co.uk. Children must be 6 or over and must be accompanied.
