Charnwood Borough Council - Leading in Leicestershire

The Council has a programme of flags to be flown on the flagpole at the front of the offices at Southfields and from the roof pole and four banner staffs on Loughborough Town Hall.

The programme is prepared using dates from the list produced by the Department of Constitutional Affairs for flag flying on public buildings and additions to cover events of local or national significance.

Flags are not always able to be flown at weekends or bank holidays when the buildings are unstaffed.

Occasionally, where the appropriate flag is not available, the Union Flag or the Borough Flag may be substituted.
