Health and Safety Intervention Plans

A Health and Safety Intervention Plan is produced annually by the Commercial Group. The plan details the local authority's priorities and aims and objectives for the enforcement of health and safety and makes clear the arrangements for contributing to current health and safety priorities. It will include a review of performance for the previous year and what committments have been made and the campaigns that will be carried out in that year.

In May 2010, 150 businesses were consulted on the Health and Safety Intervention Plan for 2010/11. If you would like to be consulted on any further Health and Safety Intervention Plans or if you have any suggestions for future campaigns or areas of health and safety that require further attention then please contact the commercial Group to discuss this further.
