Loughborough Retail Market

These outdoor retail markets are held in the Market Place and adjacent Streets, situated in the heart of Loughborough town centre, every Thursday & Saturday.

Operational hours for the markets are approx 7.00am – 5.00pm.

With approximately 125 traders in attendance selling a wide range of fresh produce including Fruit, Veg, Fish, Meat, Poultry and cheeses, together with a wide variety of food such as whole foods, confectionery, sweets, nuts,bread & cakes, spices,drinks, refreshments and take-away food.

In addition, there are stalls selling a full range of clothing from hosiery, underwear, baby/children’s wear, footwear, fashion, knitwear, menswear and outer clothing.

These stalls are complimented with a comprehensive range of traders selling such commodities as household/kitchen goods, fabrics, cosmetics, bedding and soft furnishings to name but a few.

In all there are over 60 types of goods on offer providing excellent quality and value for money.

The markets are operated and administered by the Council's Markets & Fairs Service and actively support Leicestershire Trading Standards " Real Deal" Charter ,which promotes "Fake Free zone" markets. The link below gives customers and traders alike ,information about this charter.
