Age Uk was formed from the merger of Help the Aged and Age Concern. They provide information and advice on housing, health, debt and budgeting, bereavement, making a will and going into hospital.
Services include advocacy, befriending scheme, daybreak scheme, day care services, health advice and information, handyman service, respite service, advice on moving into residential and nursing homes, and services for people from minority ethnic communities.

Provides a single point for accessing advice and information for a variety of different veteran services provided by a range of different organisations.
Services provided by the Veterans Services Directorate of Service Personnel and Veterans Agency (SPVA) will also come under the Veterans-UK name.
For the future, it is hoped that Veterans-UK will include other Ministry of Defence services to veterans, those from other Government Departments, and possibly voluntary sector organisations.
