Check list for SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

Please check that your application is complete before sending it to the Planning Directorate.

FAILING TO PROVIDE THE INFORMATION BELOW MAY RESULT IN MAKING YOUR APPLICATION INVALID AND DELAY A DECISION.

Have you considered submitting your application on-line using the Planning Portal this will ensure points 1 to 4 are completed and if you attach all your documents are submitted electronically you will also save printing costs.

1. Have you filled in the correct type of application form?

YES

2. Have you answered all the questions on the forms?

YES

3. Have you signed and dated Part B of Planning Application 1 form?

YES

4. Have you completed, signed and dated the Agricultural Holding Certificate? (if required)

YES

5. Have you provided copies of a site plan, which must be extracts from Ordnance Survey based plans and clearly indicated the extent of the application site boundaries and included the access (in red) and any adjoining land in the applicant’s ownership or control (in blue)?

YES

7. Have you provided a block plan, to a scale of not less than 1:500, showing the layout of the building(s), existing features such as trees, boundaries and buildings on the application site and adjoining land and any changes to the access or parking arrangements

8. Have you provided copies of plans/drawings which clearly show the development you propose? If existing and new works are shown on the same drawing, have you coloured or shaded the new works to make them clearly distinguishable, or have you included separate plans showing the existing situation.

9. Have you included critical dimensions (width, length, height, distance to boundaries etc.) scale, scale bar and size of paper on all submitted plans (except Ordnance Survey based site plan)

10. Have you remove "Do Not Scale from the Plans" or added "Printed or electronic copies of this plan can be scaled for planning purposes?" YES

11. If required have you submitted a Design and Access Statement?

YES

12. Is the correct fee enclosed?
YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS A
CORRECT FEE HAS BEEN PAID

No fee is needed with applications for listed building consent and
conservation area consent or applications for works to trees.

You can use Planning Explorer to browse the development control database to view your application, track its progress, and view all the comments received. Once a decision is made the Decision Notice is also viewable.

IF YOU DO NOT SEND YOUR DOCUMENTS ELECTRONICALLY YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SEND 1 COPY OF ALL INFORMATION .
