Polling District and Place Review

Background

The Electoral Administration Act 2006 required the council to undertake a full review of all polling districts and polling places by 31st December 2007.

The review of polling districts and polling places is now complete and has been approved by Council. One new polling district has been created as follows and there are related amendments to the boundaries of Loughborough Shelthorpe No.1 and Loughborough Shelthorpe No.2 polling districts.

Comments on polling districts and polling stations were received from The Returning Officer for Charnwood and Loughborough Constituencies. These comments can be downloaded from comments and proposals.
