Location and Opening Times

Public Conveniences are available in Loughborough 7 days per week and are only closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

There is a charge of 20 pence for use of Charnwood's public convenience facilities. Disabled toilets are free with the use of a radar key

Radar Keys

The council now provides RADAR keys free of charge to all disabled people in the Borough. RADAR keys are part of a National Key Scheme set up by the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation to ensure that accessible toilets are kept safe and free from vandalism. There are more than 6,000 toilets around the Country that now use the Scheme. The Borough Council currently has 15 National Key Scheme toilets (as denoted by the D on the table above). RADAR keys are available from Charnwood Borough Council Offices, Southfields Road, Loughborough (some form of identification, proof of disability and proof of residency in Charnwood will be required to obtain a key).
