A new organisation, Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing, has now been formed to manage the Council’s housing stock allowing the Council to focus on the housing needs of the borough as a whole.

Ways to Pay your Rent

Online

Direct Debit

You can pay your rent by Direct Debit. Download and print the following form:

You can also email: housingincome@charnwood.gov.uk or telephone 01509 634567 to speak to a member of the Rent Collection Team, who will be able to assist you.

Cheques should be made payable to 'Charnwood Borough Council'. Please write your account number, as shown on your rent statement or swipecard, on the back of your cheque or postal order. Receipts are only issued if requested. Please do not send cash through the post.

In Person

At the Council Offices, Southfields, Loughborough between 9.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (4.00pm on Friday).

Tele/Internet Banking

To make a payment using any of the telephone, TV, Computer or other remote banking services offered by your Bank or Building Society, please quote the following:

Followed by the account number shown on your rent statement or swipecard. It is most important to make sure that this number is quoted or we may experience difficulty in crediting your account. Please allow up to ten working days for your payments to reach us.

Giro Credit

Pay at any bank or post office operating GIROBANK. The Council's Giro Account Number is 443 7802 (a fee may be charged). Please write your account number and tenancy address as shown on your rent statement, on any payment slip.
