Right to Buy Your Council House
Council Tenants Have a Right to Buy Their Home at a Discount
The Right to Buy scheme helps social tenants in England to buy their home at a discount. Full details about the scheme are provided in the following document:
Right To Buy Brochure (PDF Document, 0.21 Mb)
The government has increased the discount available for council tenants who are thinking about buying their home. The amount of discount depends on how long you have been a tenant and the type of property that you are buying (a flat or a house).
They have also launched a new website to help tenants who are interested in the scheme. The link is below
