Shepshed Market is a popular attraction and provides an excellent amenity for the residents ad neighbouring villages.

It is held every Friday in Hallcroft next to the public library and the co-operative Store. There are a variety of trades represented including Fruit and vegetables, flowers and plants, greetings cards and gift wrapping paper, ladies clothing, fashion, pet foods and accessories. In addition there is the opportunity for charities to a have a stall position to sell goods to raise funds .

Nearby there is plenty of parking space for market visitors and market traders.

Hours for trading are approximately from 7.00 am to 4.00 pm.
