Charnwood Borough Council

Loughborough Town Centre is covered by legislation controlling street trading. Any person wishing to sell goods or services has to apply to Charnwood Borough Council for consent.

There are two types of consent:

Street trading consent and Promotional unit consent

Steet trading consent is for the sale of goods and services which have the following categories:

Daily (food) £35
Daily (non-food) £25
Annual (food) £1300
Annual (non-food) £900

Promotional unit consent is for promtion of services that are not for sale e.g. for information only.

An administration Fee £25 is charged for this service.

An additional charge for an electric supply will be applied where applicable ,details provided on application.
