The National Forest Cycling Centre

The National Forest Cycling Centre opened in June 2011.  The new family focused centre near Moira is known as Hicks Lodge, and has more than 8 miles of circular, gentle off-road trails, cycle hire and a cafe.  It has routes suitable for family cycle rides (and walks) as well as other routes suitable for the more experienced off-road cyclist.  It is close to the Conkers Circuit and the Ashby Moulds Heritage Trail, which link to Conkers, Moira Furnace and YHA National Forest.  For further information, please ring Hicks Lodge on 01530 274533.
