Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 I am requesting please a list of all developments for which planning permission was granted in the last 12 years and where there is a requirement for on site affordable housing. For clarity – this does not include developments with a requirement for a financial contribution toward affordable housing, only those where units were provided on site.


Thank you for your recent information request for information regarding  affordable housing  requirements on new developments which the Council has considered. 

I have attached a spreadsheet which shows those developments where there was a requirement to provide affordable housing, however we can not guarantee that this list is exhaustive, as in the earlier part of the time period you are enquiring about a separate record of these developments was not kept.   To provide a full and exhaustive list would require going through each individual planning application file and the time required to locate and retrieve information regarding affordable housing requirements on new developments would exceed the appropriate limit for dealing with requests set out in section 12 of the Act and the Appropriate Limit and Fees Regulations.
