Question

1 How many households in total receive the council's waste collection services?

2a) As of January 2011, does the authority collect refuse from those households "fortnightly", "weekly" or "more than weekly" (categories used by WRAP/Defra)?
2b) What was the answer as at April 2010?

3a) If the authority collects refuse in more than one category, how many households are served "fortnightly", how many "weekly" and how many "more than weekly" as of January 2011?
3b) What were the same figures in each of those categories at April 2010?

Answer

1) How many households in total receive the council's waste collection services? 68,563

2a) As of January 2011, does the authority collect refuse from those households "fortnightly", "weekly" or "more than weekly" (categories used by WRAP/Defra)? Fortnightly, apart from 102 Farm properties that still have a weekly collection due to access problems
2b) What was the answer as at April 2010? Same answer as 2a

3a) If the authority collects refuse in more than one category, how many households are served "fortnightly", how many "weekly" and how many "more than weekly" as of January 2011? 68,461 have a fortnightly collection and 102 Farm properties have a weekly collection
3b) What were the same figures in each of those categories at April 2010?" 68186 had a fortnightly collection and 102 Farm properties had a weekly collection
