Answer

Details about the open space Charnwood Borough Council is responsible for can be found in our Open Spaces Strategy, which is available on our website: http://www.charnwood.gov.uk/files/documents/open_spaces_strategy_2013/Open%20Spaces%20Strategy%202013.pdf
Regarding Circuses, the Council do not allow any circuses with performing animals to use Council owned land.
We do not hold any further information on dates when this motion was passed, however our Council Constitution does specify that the head of Environmental Services has delegated authority to ‘determine applications to stage circuses not involving performing animals at Southfield’s Park’.  The Constitution is reviewed annually.
