•           Schools
N/A - Charnwood Borough Council are not an education authority
•           Colleges
N/A - Charnwood Borough Council are not an education authority

•          Suppliers and Contractors
Although we may hold the information requested in the form of individual transaction, invoices or contracts, it is not held in a manner which would enable us to collate the requested information easily. The time required to locate and retrieve the contact information for all of the suppliers the council has used would exceed the appropriate limit for dealing with requests set out in section 12 of the Act and the Appropriate Limit and Fees Regulations.
In order to try and accommodate your request within the scope of the Act the Council could consider a request which is less wide-ranging, and focuses on a type of supplier or contract.  Please let me know if you wish to discuss this approach further.
Our contracts database is viewable online and provides details of our contractors with contracts over £25,000.

•             Council board of directs contact details
The council does not have a board.  The Council's policies on how we deliver our services are decided by 52 councillors, each of whom is elected for a period of four years. The Borough is divided into 28 wards, each having one, two or three councillors depending on its size.  Most major Council decisions are made by the Cabinet which consists of councillors from the party in control, (which is currently the Conservatives).  The Cabinet usually meets every three weeks and is made up of the Council Leader plus eight other appointed councillors. The full Council also meets regularly, as do the various Council committees which have scrutiny, standards or regulatory functions.
The Council also has a Chief Executive, 3 Directors and 9 Heads of service.
