a) 2010/11 – Charnwood Borough Councils housing stock, income and tenancy management was managed by an Arms-length Management Organisation between November 2007 and October 2012, when it came back in to the Councils control.  Due to this arrangement, the councils income team do not appear to hold the data request for this year.

3. How much has your council spent on rent collection agencies, e.g. bailiffs, in the financial years
Please could you clarify whether this is just for the collection of dwelling rent arrears?

4. How many council tenants have applied for assistance with rent, including asking for emergency funds, and how much money was given by the council in the financial year
Please could you clarify this question?  Assistance with rents could include new or amended applications for housing benefits or would you just be referring to ad hoc requests rather than on-going assistance?
Also by emergency funds, would this be for instance requests for discretionary housing payments?  Would this be requests solely for assistance with rent?

Apologies for not requesting this clarification earlier.
