As the information is likely to be held in datasets, please provide it as a spreadsheet or CSV file.

Answer

• Reminders\Final Notices  - £87,600
• Arrangements -  £243,800
• Liability order -  £925,300
• Attachment of earnings - £69,300
• Attachment of benefits - £71,300
• Bailiffs - £1,004,800
• Court Action - Not sure what is meant by ‘Court Action’
• Charging Order
• Insolvency
• Any other means  - Charging Order, Insolvency and ‘Any other means’ combined £173,800
Above figures do not include any enforcement costs levied.
Although we would hold the information on the number of cases for each of the above categories and would know which ward each account falls under, it is not held in a manner which would allow for easy collation of the data.  The time required to go through the individual records of all these cases would exceed the appropriate limit for dealing with requests set out in section 12 of the Act and the Appropriate Limit and Fees Regulations.

The Council would normally wish to offer suggestions as to how some of the information could be provided or how a differently worded request could result in information being provided within the terms of the Act and the Regulations.  However due to the complexity of the information requested in this case in relation to the way in which the Council holds information this does not appear possible in this case.
