Question

Under the FOIA please forward me logs of repairs to the paved path between Farnham Drive and Ling Road in Shelthorpe. I need to see when the path was last maintained (if ever)

Re the wooden fence erected by Charnwood council along the footpath that joins Ling road to Farnham drive
With reference to the FOIA please send me a copy of the planning permission to erect this fence as it is more than 1 metre high and is adjacent to a public highway

Answer

I have attached a spreadsheet which lists all repairs and maintenance listed on our Housing Management System for the footpath your request relates to (Please note the different layouts of the orders are due to a different system being used from 2009 onwards).
Two of the records  - 578029  and 442409 relate to planned maintenance of paths, fences and gates in 2006 and 2001, however although this work took place in the surrounding area of footpath  (certainly on the path that runs parallel with Ling Road at the back of the Council Bungalows)  we are unable to confirm whether any work took place directly on the footpath in question.
I can confirm that no planning permission is held in regards to the erection of the fence which runs alongside the footpath.  Planning permission was not required for the erection of the fence, as the fence is not adjacent to a highway used by vehicular traffic.
I have included the order line for the erection of the new fence on the attached spreadsheet for your information.I have attached a spreadsheet which lists all repairs and maintenance listed on our Housing Management System for the footpath your request relates to (Please note the different layouts of the orders are due to a different system being used from 2009 onwards).
