Question

The Prime Minister announced on 19 February 2014 that funding of up to £4m will be available to local authorities in support of Council Tax Discounts for homes that have been flooded.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please provide me with the following information:

(a) Whether or not the Council has claimed or received support from the Department of Communities and Local Government to fund council tax reductions or exemptions for households affected by floods and if so:
(b) How many households have applied for Council Tax reductions or exemptions (with regards to flooding)
(c) How many households have been offered council tax reductions or exemptions with reagrds to flooding and for what duration

Answer
