Question

I am trying to ascertain how much local authorities spend on their energy bills. The aim is to show the impact of energy prices on council finances and therefore your ability to spend money on other priorities.

I therefore request the following information under Freedom of Information.

How much did you spend on electricity bills in each of the last two financial years (2011/12 and 2012/13) and in the first half of 2013/14 in all council buildings apart from schools.
Can you tell me how much you specifically spent on the electricity for streetlights in each of the last two financial years (2011/12 and 2012/13) and in the first half of 2013/14.
Finally, how much did you spend on gas bills in each of the last two financial years (2011/12 and 2012/13) in all council buildings apart from schools.
